Vivian Mair -A Rare Find

Photography is powerful. Looking at a photo can bring all sorts of emotions. When I ran across this post on  Josh Harwell’s Media Blog, I had to cross-post it. Vivian Mair was a nanny living quietly in Chicago. On her down time, she carried her camera around the streets and snapped photos. Like Josh said “No one really knew about her amazing talent until after she passed away and her work was accidentally discovered by John Maloof.”

I spent over an hour looking through more of her photos on John’s blog. I was lost in the “story” behind each of the photos.
